The Sweetness

It all started with a small comment.


Dave: "Hazel sure would love to go for a walk."


Truth be told I've totally slacked on my dog walking for some time now.


Me: "Let's walk her to Lick and have ice cream!"

Dave: "OK."

Me to my little guy: "Hey, do you want to go with us?"

Little guy: "Do I get to have ice cream?"

Me: "Of course!"


And while I never, ever eat ice cream, haven't been a fan since I was a kid, this place has ice cream I simply cannot resist. I mean where else can a girl like me get a Coconut and Avocado Curd ice cream fix?

The Chicken and the Egg

I'd heard rumor that chickens like to eat scrambled eggs.  As in chicken eggs.  Well, I found out that that's not exactly true.  They don't like scrambled eggs, they LOVE them!!

Now I find this to be just fine and dandy, but the rest of my family thinks it's some kind of disgusting cannibalism.  I say my family worries too much.

And what did the chickens and I eat for dinner?  You guessed it...scrambled eggs.  Delicious!
