Chocolate Flowers

My latest commissioned piece for a long-time corporate client arrived in New Jersey today. Here's the lovely feedback I received.

"Hi Kali, The painting arrived and within minutes, our team had it proudly hanging on the master wall. I’ve heard nothing but glowing feedback from everyone who was overjoyed, and they couldn’t stop complimenting your incredible work. It has truly transformed the space and created the happiness we were all hoping for. I want to sincerely thank you for your dedication and the remarkable attention to detail you poured into this piece. I can’t wait to see it in person, and I’m already excited to start on our next collaboration."
My artist heart is so very happy.
This piece is 36"x36", acrylic on canvas.

Love and Daisies

"Love and Daisies"...two of this girl's favorite things.

Friends, I will be donating 50% of all of my art sales (excluding commissions) to support Democratic candidates now through election day. I've got paintings of all different sizes as well as a number of 3"x3" cards (with envelopes).
This is where you can find my online gallery. https://www.dailypaintworks.com/Artists/kali-parsons-3935
My cards can be found in my facebook photos. I'll work on photographing them in groups to post later.
DM me with your interest and feel free to share this post.
Let's get busy!!!

Old Trees

Tribute to old trees. I loved hanging out in the high-to-me branches of the tree in my front yard, my favorite hangout when I was a kid. “So from my eyes the message lingers, old trees give charm and character.” Zoom in to see the quote embedded in the painting.

Make Peace with Reflection

When I was about 16 or so, I went to a family camp in Big Sur with my mom and my brother.  There was a young kiddo there who, with great authority, told me one day, "You're going to be a funny looking adult." Pretty sure I gave him my best stink eye and wandered off with a new friend I'd made. Well, I can't begin to tell you how many times in my life that little kiddo's words have echoed in my head as I've done this adult thing. An inopportune reflection in a mirror...an unflattering photo..."Oh, fudge, I AM a funny looking adult!" Oy. Thankfully, the older I get the more at peace I've become with reflecting upon my reflection.

"Make Peace with Reflection."
