The No Tail Tale

So, I must admit that I'm a little confused.  For years and years and years I've heard about those game day parties...you know, the tailgate ones.  Right?  Well, today I had the occasion to be present at one.  And you know what?  I did not see one single tailgate in action.  RVs, yes.  SUVs, yes.  Tailgates lowered and used in a party-kind-of-way, no.  So, clear this up for me, please.  Somewhere along the way something went terribly awry...you know, in a super comfy kind of way.
