The Scoop

I picked my little dude up from school today.  It's my Friday treat for him...you know, so he doesn't have to ride the bus.  I'm always curious about how his day went, and I got the whole scoop today!


Me:  "How was your day?"

Little guy:  "Fine."

Me:  "Did anything amazing happen today?"

Little guy:  "No."

Me:  "Did anything terrible happen today?"

Little guy:  "No."

Me:  "Did anything plain and normal happen today?"

Little guy:  "Yes."  (Now I'm getting somewhere!!!)

Me:  "What?"

Little guy:  "I don't remember."


So there you have it...the scoop, the whole scoop, and nothing but the scoop.
